The role is designed to be home-based, with the option to work from any Wood office in the UK if preferred. Regular travel to customer sites and face-to-face meetings with colleagues will be required.

Applicants must be able to pass a security clearance check.

Contribute to a culture of innovation, driving the development of cutting-edge solutions for our clients.

  • Hold a degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering, with experience in conceptual studies, FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects in Refinery, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power, or Pharmaceutical Plants.
  • Have a strong background in relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with ISA Standards and other international standards for instrumentation and control is essential.
  • Knowledge of Field Instrumentation and proficiency in PC-based design software for instrument sizing, requisition preparation, and procurement are required.
  • Hands-on experience with Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) is a significant advantage.
