About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Protective Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing bespoke and tailor-made support for young people who require a high level of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support young people with their daily lives, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to help them develop essential life skills.
  • Remain calm and composed in challenging situations, using de-escalation techniques to ensure the young person's safety and well-being.
  • Provide a consistent, homely, and safe environment for the young people to grow and develop.
  • Travel to various locations in the North East region, using a full UK manual driving license.
Requirements
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of emotional and physical demands.
  • Ability to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, including day and night shifts.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and flexibility to meet the needs of the young people.
  • Full UK manual driving license.
