Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate proactively with Technical Art Directors across game development teams to gain insights into their content processes and identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Work closely with the Frostbite development team to implement necessary engine enhancements that support ongoing game production.
  • Facilitate collaborative initiatives that unite Frostbite team members globally around game-specific use cases.
  • Guide the quality assurance team in refining workflow testing methodologies.
  • Provide mentorship to technical artists, engineers, and quality assurance personnel on content-related subjects.
  • Act as a key leader within the Frostbite Partner Experience organization, driving improvements in collaboration with game teams.
  • Engage with the broader EA technical art community to share knowledge and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in game development, preferably within AAA titles or engine development.
  • Proven track record in developing and optimizing content workflows and pipelines.
  • In-depth expertise in various DCC applications such as Maya, Houdini, Substance, Blender, or Photoshop.
  • Experience in optimizing game assets within technical limitations.
  • Familiarity with visual or Python scripting.
  • Proficient in using game engines (e.g., Frostbite, Unreal, or Unity).
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse audiences including artists, engineers, and management.
  • A proactive approach to tackling new technical and creative challenges.
  • Adept at building and maintaining relationships with teams and individuals on a global scale.
