About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our IAPT service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with common mental health problems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans to support their recovery.
  2. Therapeutic Interventions: Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including guided self-help and cognitive behavioral therapy, to patients with a range of mental health conditions.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including GPs, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  4. Record Keeping and Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes, and contribute to the collection and analysis of service data.
  5. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development, including training, supervision, and peer review, to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date with best practices in mental health care.
