About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Retail Sales Development Manager to join our team at BodyPower Sports Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue across our 11 retail stores in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets
  • Work closely with the Retail Operations Manager to ensure strategic, operational, and commercial objectives are met
  • Manage and motivate store managers to achieve sales, marketing, and product-related KPIs and responsibilities
  • Maintain constructive relationships with key departments, including digital, buying, and product development, as well as external suppliers, consultants, and retail site landlords
  • Develop and implement retail marketing strategies to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Identify opportunities to grow bricks and mortar sales to B2C and B2B channels
  • Ensure sales KPIs are met by store managers and confidently articulate your strategic vision to the Head Office management team and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Proven track record in retail sales and a deep understanding of how retail stores can grow, prosper, and add value to a successful omni-channel business
  • Experience in B2B sales development and a keen interest in new technologies
  • Ability to set and work within a budget, understanding the impact on P&L and making sound commercial decisions
  • IT literacy and ability to grasp new software systems and reporting
  • Commercial savvy and familiar or experienced in supplier negotiations
  • Understanding of retail legal requirements, including the Sale of Goods Act and FSA, leases, and consumer protection
