We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at B&M Retail. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in delivering exceptional store standards and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in leading and developing a high-performing team, focusing on excellent customer service and sales results.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of store strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Manage and maintain store operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify and address areas for improvement, implementing changes to drive business growth and profitability.
- Provide coaching and guidance to team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Support the Store Manager in managing store budgets, forecasting, and reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of delivering sales growth and improving store performance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
