About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at B&M Retail. As a key member of our store leadership team, you'll play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing your team's skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in leading the store team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement effective store operations to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Coach and mentor team members to improve their skills and performance.
- Monitor and control store expenses to ensure profitability.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to plan and execute visual merchandising and store displays.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
