About this Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive individual to provide day-to-day support to our Divisional Finance Director in the Commercial Banking Finance division.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Compiling and delivering briefing packs, committee papers, and actions on a timely basis
  • Developing and delivering the Retail Finance Best Team plan to improve colleague engagement, development, and wellbeing
  • Leading activity on SMCR compliance and team communication and engagement
  • Managing the Retail Finance cost and FTE budget, including recruitment and OD principles
  • Providing a trusted sounding board and source of feedback and challenge for the Divisional Finance Director

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant with experience in Financial Accounting/Reporting
  • Strong influencing skills to deliver through others and build trusting relationships
