Domestic Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Domestic Abuse Case Worker to join our team at Stonewater's Brighton Refuge. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred services to members of the LGBTQ+ community who are accessing our refuge.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver informed and strengths-based support to members of the LGBTQ+ community, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a seamless and effective service delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, building trust and confidence in our support services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service plans, ensuring that they are tailored to meet the individual needs of service users.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of best practice in case management.
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults, particularly those affected by domestic abuse.
- Strong understanding of the needs and experiences of the LGBTQ+ community.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues alike.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to service delivery.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
