Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children and Young Person's Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (CYP IDVA) to join our team at Victim Support in Brighton & Hove.

This is a hybrid role working from home, the office at least one day a week, and attending meetings and appointments. The successful candidate will provide specialist support to children and young people affected by domestic abuse, working closely with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist support to children and young people affected by domestic abuse
  • Work closely with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users
  • Attend meetings and appointments as required

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and young people affected by domestic abuse
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

About the Role:

This is a maternity cover role until 31st March 2025. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about supporting children and young people affected by domestic abuse and has the skills and experience to make a real difference in our community.
