Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Community Mental Health Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with mental health needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Work independently as part of an interdisciplinary team to diagnose, assess, plan, and implement patient-specific programs of care/interventions.
  • Undertake complex assessments using your profession-specific clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Function effectively across various environments, including wards, departments, and patients' homes, involving changing and demanding conditions.
  • Use a comprehensive range of verbal and non-verbal communication tools to communicate effectively with patients, their families/carers, and the diagnosis and treatment plan.
  • Evaluate patient progress and alter treatment programs as and when appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification.
  • Experience working in a community mental health setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
