Senior JOC/IM Command Centre Analyst

Barclays is seeking a highly skilled Senior JOC/IM Command Centre Analyst to join our Cyber Fraud Fusion Centre team. As a key member of our digital landscape evolution team, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and excellence in our digital services.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a unique blend of technical and business skills. As a Senior JOC/IM Command Centre Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing major incident management programmes to mitigate the impact of unexpected incidents.
  • Executing responses to reported incidents from various channels, prioritized by their potential impact to our IT systems, and providing regular status updates to affected stakeholders.
  • Analysing logs, system data, and user reports to identify the root cause of incidents and determine the necessary course of action to resolve or follow escalation protocols.
  • Executing regular tests and simulations to test response procedures in the event of an incident.
  • Documenting and analysing past incident details, the steps to resolution, and lessons learned from each case to support the identification of recurring issues in the future.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of incident management and analysis tools, such as ServiceNow, X-Matters, Everbridge, and Silobreaker.
  • Experience working in a Situational, Operational Control, or Security Control environment.
  • Knowledge and working experience with a layered and intelligence-driven defence model.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
