Senior JOC/IM Command Centre Analyst

Barclays is seeking a highly skilled Senior JOC/IM Command Centre Analyst to join our Cyber Fraud Fusion Centre team. As a key member of our digital landscape evolution team, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and excellence in our digital services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for mitigating the impact of unexpected incidents by identifying, responding, and resolving disruptions that threaten our IT services, operations, and technological infrastructure. This will involve developing, implementing, and managing major incident management programmes, executing responses to reported incidents, and analysing logs and system data to identify root causes and determine necessary courses of action.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement major incident management programmes to ensure effective response and resolution of disruptions.
  • Execute responses to reported incidents, prioritised by potential impact to our IT systems, and provide regular status updates to affected stakeholders.
  • Analyse logs, system data, and user reports to identify root causes and determine necessary courses of action to resolve or escalate incidents.
  • Document and analyse past incident details, steps to resolution, and lessons learned to support identification of recurring issues and implementation of preventive measures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in incident management and analysis, with a strong understanding of digital landscape evolution and cybersecurity principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions in high-stress situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of incident management and analysis tools, such as ServiceNow, X-Matters, Everbridge, and Silobreaker.
