Role Overview

The Assistant Night Manager will be responsible for the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift. This includes ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff, managing the front desk, and providing exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Be present in the lobby and reception area during peak times and support the team
  • Lead the reception team to deliver an exceptional arrival and departure experience, complete regular quality checks, and ensure that all procedures are followed
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and secure working environment for all hotel colleagues and guests, resolve and report any issues
  • Act on all guest feedback, positive and negative, and respond to guest reviews and update guest profiles accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with all financial, privacy, data security, and health and safety procedures
  • Walk around the property and pick up on details that require attention, as well as health and safety matters that need action
  • Ensure all night jobs are complete and produce any nightly reports

About You

We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual who can deliver exceptional standards, use initiative, and be self-aware. You should have a customer service attitude, be able to multi-task, and provide excellent attention to detail. Previous experience in a Front Office or Nights environment at a supervisory level is essential.
