About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Liverpool FC Foundation team as a PL Primary Stars Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of the LFC Foundation's current Premier League Primary Stars Programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the planning, delivery, and evaluation of sports and educational activities for young people and adults in primary school settings.
  • Support teachers to improve their confidence in running PE lessons, educational activations, and interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with the PL Primary Stars and WE Empower teams to deliver the programme in designated schools.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with primary school teachers, PE coordinators, and other key staff.
  • Collect and maintain monitoring and evaluation documentation for each Premier League Primary Stars session.
  • Ensure all activities are delivered in line with the current primary school curriculum and OFSTED guidelines.
  • Organise and run teacher training workshops to designated primary schools and staff.
  • Support holiday camps and half-term activations as needed.
  • Support other LFC Foundation programmes with their female engagement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of delivering sports coaching in schools to young people of all ages and abilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the PE national curriculum across KS1 & KS2.
  • Understanding of different teaching and learning styles.
  • Sound understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion and its application in the role of coach.
  • Awareness of safeguarding issues when working with children and young people.
  • Essential qualifications: 1st 4sport Level 3 certificate in supporting the delivery of physical education, 1st 4sport Level 2 award in multi-skills development in sport, AFPE Level 3 or QTS qualification, and Level 1 (or higher) qualification in safeguarding young people.
