The working hours for this position are set from Monday to Friday, with part-time hours available. Please note that the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.

In alignment with NHS Scotland's initiative, the full-time working week will transition from 37.5 hours to 37 hours starting from April 2024, with no alteration in pay. This change will also apply proportionately to part-time employees. It is important to understand that some service areas may not immediately implement the new working hours, and you may be required to work an additional 30 minutes per week temporarily, for which you will be compensated until the service adjusts its schedules.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated and personable individual to deliver Band 3 administrative support within our dedicated MSK Physiotherapy Service. The successful candidate will provide essential support across the South Quadrant.

The ideal applicant should possess experience with basic Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with proficient IT and typing skills. Responsibilities will include working independently in a public-facing reception environment, addressing patient and staff inquiries, processing referrals, managing waiting lists, and ensuring a smooth patient flow.

Additionally, the role requires collaboration within an office setting to assist managers in creating and submitting reports and processing data. Strong communication and customer service skills are crucial for success in this position.
