Job Summary

The Office Estimating Administrator plays a critical role in the organization by working within the administrative team to process sales quotations, customer sales orders, supplier purchase orders, and other general office administration duties as required. This role will be supported by other members of the administration and management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Manage incoming calls and assist with customer queries and using Teams internally.
  • Order Management: Track secure deliveries and record proof of delivery, assist with the secure sign-in of visitors and contractors in line with procedures.
  • Estimating and Quoting: Estimate jobs using Tharstern's system for customers, order processing for customers, including generating dockets and artwork bags.
  • SAP and Project Management: Manage SAP sales orders and projects for customers and internal projects, customer call offs using both SAP and Tharstern's.
  • International Dispatches: Organize international dispatches using Interglobal/UPS/Royal Mail and all relevant paperwork including commercial invoices.
  • Reporting and Administration: Liaise with production managers for required reporting on order/dispatch status, creating ISF numbers and daily checks of the Blockchain Portal.
  • General Office Duties: Franking of mail, general office duties such as filing & destruction of old dockets.
Requirements
  • Candidate Profile: Customer-focused with strong customer service skills, flexible and dedicated, team working skills.
  • Experience and Qualifications: Experience of working as an office administrator, good communication and listening skills, NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Desirable Skills: Experience of using SAP, experience of producing quotes, experience of prioritizing a busy workload.
