Interim Senior Events Coordinator

Job Summary:
VMA GROUP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim Senior Events Executive to join our team. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of external and internal events, from planning and development to execution and post-event follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning, execution, and evaluation of corporate events, including conferences, dinners, and other high-profile events.
- Collaborate with the events and marketing teams to develop and implement event strategies that align with business objectives.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of event budgets, timelines, and logistics.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.
- Manage event registrations, RSVPs, and attendee communications.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and event sponsors.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive event experience for attendees.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in event management.
- Contribute to the development of event marketing materials, including promotional emails, social media posts, and press releases.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Experience with event management software, including Cvent, Splash, and Eloqua.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the events industry, with a focus on corporate events.
- Knowledge of event marketing and promotion, including social media and email marketing.
- Experience with event budgeting and financial management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
