Education Support Assistant for Children with Autism

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Support Assistant to join our team in one of our Preston schools. The successful candidate will provide tailored support to students with autism, both in the classroom and in 1:1 settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to students with autism, promoting their educational and personal development.
- Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral management strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to each child's learning.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
- Support students during school activities, both in and outside of the classroom.
- Previous experience working with children with autism or in a similar role.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- A passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- Relevant qualifications in special education or teaching assistance (preferred but not essential).
- DBS clearance (or willing to obtain).
- A supportive team environment.
