Are you a recent graduate looking for a rewarding career in SEND support? Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker in SEND schools.

We work with a range of schools across South Yorkshire, including SEMH, MLD, SEN, and ASC schools. As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work with vulnerable young people and gain valuable experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong personality, be outgoing and confident, and have a passion for working with children and young people. You will also need to have experience of working with SEND students, either professionally or personally, and be willing to undergo training in Team Teach or physical intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with SEND in a range of settings
  • Working with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Providing one-to-one support and mentoring to students
  • Assisting with lesson planning and delivery
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate in Drama, Sports, or Psychology
  • Experience of working with SEND students
  • Strong personality and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to undergo training in Team Teach or physical intervention
