Are you a recent graduate looking for a rewarding career in SEND support? Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker in SEND schools.

We work with a range of schools across South Yorkshire, from SEMH, MLD, SEN, and ASC schools, providing short-term and long-term placements for graduates. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and develop your skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

As a Support Worker, you will work closely with our schools and students to provide individualized support and guidance. You will have the opportunity to work with students with a range of needs, including SEMH, MLD, SEN, and ASC, and develop your skills in areas such as youth community work, mentoring, and 1:1 student tuition.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with young people and have a strong desire to make a positive impact. You will need to have a DBS certificate with a live subscription to the update service and be committed to the safeguarding of young people.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students with a range of needs

  • Develop and maintain relationships with schools and students

**Requirements:**

  • Recent graduate in Drama, Sports, or Psychology

  • Commitment to the safeguarding of young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
