Support Worker for SEND Schools - Drama, Sports, or Psychology

Are you a recent graduate looking for a rewarding career in education? Do you have a passion for working with children with special educational needs (SEN)? We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team at Protocol Education Ltd.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to work as a Support Worker in our SEND schools. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Assist students with daily living skills, such as personal care and mobility.
  • Support students with behavioral challenges, using positive behavior management techniques.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school's SEN policy.

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate in Drama, Sports, or Psychology.
  • Experience working with children with SEN, either professionally or personally.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • DBS certificate with a live subscription to the update service.
