We are seeking a talented Financial Solutions Architect to join our esteemed client’s team. This role is pivotal in driving innovation within a prominent global financial organization dedicated to delivering exceptional banking solutions that empower both individuals and enterprises.

Key Responsibilities of the Financial Solutions Architect

  • Utilizing extensive domain knowledge and Decision Driven Design expertise, you will leverage frameworks such as BIAN, TOGAF, and ArchiMate, alongside API and microservice architecture solutions, to develop comprehensive Solution Design Documents (SDD).
  • Overseeing the complete Solution Architecture process, you will collaborate with various architecture disciplines (Security, Data, Infrastructure, Cloud, etc.) to ensure alignment with the Domain Enterprise Architecture Strategy.
  • Documenting intricate As-Is, Transition, and Target Architectures in accordance with established roadmaps.
  • Establishing and maintaining strategic roadmaps while engaging diverse stakeholders across multiple technologies and business sectors.
  • Possessing knowledge of Digital, API, Micro-Services, Big Data, AWS, Azure, and Cloud Architecture, along with relevant software solutions.
  • Demonstrating experience in transitioning from legacy systems to modern technologies, effectively addressing obsolescence.

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Proven expertise in IT Systems Design and Solutions Architecture, particularly within Financial Institutions, with a focus on Financial Crime domains (including Financial Crime Detection, Transaction Monitoring, KYC/CRA, and Sanctions Screening).
  • Ability to create practical and implementable architectures that adhere to IT principles and governance standards.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the capacity to articulate complex concepts clearly, both in writing and verbally.
  • Demonstrated ability to diplomatically challenge and influence a diverse range of stakeholders and colleagues.
