About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Safeguarding and Child Protection Officer to join our team at Star Academies. As a key member of our safeguarding team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective safeguarding practices across our schools in the West Midlands and London cluster.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safeguarding strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of all students
- Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leaders and teachers on safeguarding best practices
- Collaborate with external agencies and partners to ensure effective multi-agency working
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and investigations into safeguarding concerns
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to safeguarding policies and procedures
