About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Support Liaison to join our team at Intertek. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers and ensuring their needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide technical support to customers, including answering questions and troubleshooting issues related to our services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including laboratory staff and inspectors, to ensure seamless communication and delivery of services.
  • Manage customer agreements and quotations, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Communicate with customers regarding sample requirements, collections, deliveries, and turnaround times.
  • Prepare and issue reports to customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Liaise with internal and external offices to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures and testing methodologies, preferably in a petroleum lab environment.
  • Experience with customer service software and systems, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
