Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diabetes Specialist Nurse to join our team at BHRUT NHS. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adults with diabetes, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Main Duties
  • Provide specialist care to adults with diabetes, including assessment, treatment, and education.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Deliver education to staff, patients, and carers on diabetes management and care.
  • Support and supervise junior diabetes nurses to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to diabetes care.

Person Specification
  • RGN level 1
  • Relevant qualification applicable to diabetes
  • Education to degree level or equivalent experience
