Job Overview
The Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS is seeking a highly skilled Diabetes Specialist Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adults with diabetes, working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver a comprehensive service.
Main Responsibilities
- To work as a member of the multidisciplinary team providing a specialist service to adults with diabetes.
- To assist in the provision of a high-quality Diabetes service at King George and Queens Hospital.
- To provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care whilst acting as a role model, educator and a competent nurse.
- To deliver education to staff, patients and carers.
- To provide support and knowledge to other healthcare professionals.

Education / Qualifications
- RGN level 1
- Relevant qualification applicable to diabetes
- Education to degree level or equivalent experience.
Knowledge / Experience
- Experience in audit
