Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Diabetes Specialist Nurse to join our team at BHRUT NHS. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adults with diabetes, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Main Duties

  • Assess and manage patients with diabetes, providing education and support to patients, relatives, and ward staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of diabetes care pathways and protocols.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Provide education and training to junior nurses and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

  • RGN level 1
