Fragrance Team Leader

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Development

  • Guide, train, and mentor a group of Beauty Advisors, ensuring they provide outstanding customer service.
  • Encourage and motivate the team to achieve and surpass sales objectives, offering guidance and support as necessary. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, performance expectations, and provide constructive feedback.

Sales Performance and Customer Engagement

  • Boost fragrance sales by actively interacting with customers, providing tailored recommendations, and showcasing product expertise.
  • Establish and monitor individual and team sales targets, implementing strategies to achieve and exceed these goals. Ensure the highest level of customer service is maintained at all times, addressing customer concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.

Product Expertise and Visual Presentation

  • Remain informed about the latest fragrance trends, brands, and product knowledge.
  • Educate and train team members on product features, advantages, and application methods.
  • Collaborate with visual merchandising teams to create appealing and engaging displays that effectively highlight fragrance products.

Operational Management

  • Ensure adherence to Sephora's policies and procedures, including cash management, inventory oversight, and loss prevention.
  • Supervise stock replenishment, inventory management, and maintenance of stock levels. Assist in organizing and executing promotional events, product launches, and beauty workshops.

Team Development and Performance Oversight

  • Conduct regular performance assessments and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
  • Identify training requirements and facilitate training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales capabilities.
  • Assist in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new team members.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity, preferably within the beauty or retail sector.
  • Enthusiasm for fragrances and a solid understanding of the beauty industry.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with a history of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology and point-of-sale systems.
  • Flexible availability.
