  • Support the Head Chef in all facets of food preparation, production, and service.
  • Ensure that the quality and presentation of all dishes align with the company's standards and client expectations.
  • Oversee and mentor kitchen staff and assistants, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Participate in menu planning and development, considering dietary restrictions, nutritional guidelines, and seasonal ingredients.
  • Manage stock control and ordering to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with the catering team to implement special events, themed dinners, and other culinary projects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Assist the Head Chef with administrative responsibilities such as scheduling, budgeting, and tracking food costs and inventory.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, culinary techniques, and new ingredients to continuously improve menu offerings and enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Encourage a positive work atmosphere by demonstrating leadership qualities, effective communication, and teamwork.

Position: Assistant Culinary Leader - Monday to Friday

Salary: £33,000 per annum / £16.00 per hour + paid overtime.
