The Senior Shopper Marketing Manager for the Global Travel Retail (GTR) sector is tasked with delivering top-tier shopper marketing, activation, and category management for the Global Accounts and Americas Channel. This role necessitates close collaboration with various teams, including Sales, Brand Marketing, and Commercial Marketing, to ensure a customer-focused approach is consistently implemented.

The position demands a strong commitment to developing and executing comprehensive campaigns that leverage consumer and shopper insights, aimed at fostering mutually beneficial growth for both Beam Suntory and its partners. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, with a proven ability to transform insights into actionable strategies across diverse consumer touchpoints, effectively driving shopper engagement and conversion both in-store and online.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary omnichannel execution of brand strategies and objectives across all regional customers through tailored shopper programs.
  • Establish a unified global strategy with clear activation guidelines to ensure consistency and high execution standards.
  • Foster effective partnerships with Brand Marketing, Marketing Services, and Commercial teams to create a cohesive strategy.
  • Oversee and manage agency partnerships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with brand objectives.
  • Maintain a shopper-centric focus in all planning and execution phases.
  • Collaborate with the brand marketing team on innovation initiatives, ensuring robust launch plans are executed globally.
  • Prioritize budget allocation towards the most promising opportunities to support the recovery and achieve both Beam Suntory and customer objectives.
  • Develop educational tools for internal and external stakeholders regarding our brands, emphasizing product features and tasting experiences.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform key investment decisions, maximizing consumer and shopper engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • A collaborative team player who excels in a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive environment.
  • Extensive experience (7-9 years) in trade marketing, retail trade marketing, or commercial planning within the FMCG or Travel Retail sectors.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Expertise in category management and a passion for translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Proficient understanding of P&L management and ROI principles.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven track record in managing and expanding product categories.
  • Experience in digital and eCommerce strategies.
