Capital Programme Financial Manager

Role Overview:
This pivotal position is designed to enhance oversight, evaluation, and performance across the Capital Programme.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Capital Programme Financial Manager, you will oversee the financial reporting, assessment, and scrutiny of our Capital Programme. This role is essential for refining our financial reporting mechanisms to ensure optimal success, including the rollout of our Programme Sponsorship framework.
Performance Management:
Enhance and develop performance controls and related reporting to facilitate proactive programme management. Emphasizing cross-learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement, you will challenge teams to elevate performance standards.
Commercial Insights:
Assist the business in reporting and interpreting commercial settlements for senior management, providing insights into financial and customer trends to assess business performance against budget and historical periods.
Leadership:
Strong leadership capabilities are essential, as you will engage with colleagues at various levels across the organization on a diverse range of topics.
Qualifications:
A qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent) is required. Experience in the utilities or water sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary up to £75,000 per annum, based on experience.
- Annual Leave: 26 days, increasing to 30 with tenure (plus bank holidays).
