Position Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and proactive Band 2 Administrative Coordinator/Receptionist to become a vital part of our dynamic team, providing essential administrative and reception support to ensure the efficient operation of our integrated Sexual Health service.

Shifts will be scheduled on a rotational basis, including weekend coverage.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, the ability to manage their own workload effectively, and a commitment to meeting processes and deadlines. The successful applicant must be a collaborative team member with outstanding communication abilities, capable of working independently while consistently delivering high-quality, accurate work with meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent computer proficiency and organizational capabilities essential for this role. Given the sensitive nature of the information handled, adherence to confidentiality and data protection protocols is paramount.

Reception duties will be required across various locations, ensuring that all shifts are adequately staffed.

Qualifications

Essential

  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or Customer Service, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in word processing to RSA 2 standard or equivalent skill level

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • Familiarity with a variety of standard administrative procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word
  • Prior experience in an office setting performing general administrative tasks

Desirable

  • Knowledge of additional Microsoft applications
  • Experience with SystmOne functionalities
  • Previous experience within the NHS
  • Experience interacting with the public
