The Role

As a Senior HR Business Partner at GCHQ, you'll work closely with Director Generals on workforce skills, health, planning, and leadership. The Strategic HR team is driving progress on key priorities, including career modernization, psychological well-being, and equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). Your responsibilities will encompass supporting effective workforce planning and analysis, leading and guiding Director Generals on strategic workforce and people matters, and advising on workforce planning, design, and structure.

You'll collaborate with fellow Senior Business Partners and Director Generals to ensure seamless communication and effective working relationships. Building strong relationships and maintaining a strong team will be crucial in meeting operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support Director Generals in workforce planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making
  2. Lead and guide Director Generals on workforce and people matters
  3. Advise on workforce planning, design, and structure
  4. Collaborate with the Strategic HR team to drive progress on key priorities
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with Director Generals and fellow Senior Business Partners
