We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Team Leader to join our Residential Children's Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading by example, providing invaluable support to children and young people, and working closely with our experienced support workers to ensure the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of support workers to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people
- Develop and implement individual care plans to meet the unique needs of each young person
- Work closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the home
- Provide supervision and guidance to support workers to ensure they are equipped to provide the best possible care
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the home is running efficiently and effectively
- Experience of working in a residential care setting, preferably with children and young people
- Qualifications in childcare or a related field, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and colleagues
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
- Full UK driving license, as the role requires travel to various locations
- A competitive hourly rate of £14.22, depending on experience
- A £30 sleep-in rate, paid for each sleep-in shift
- Overtime paid at an enhanced rate
- Annual leave, including bank holidays

- Full enhanced DBS check, paid for by Cambian Group
- 10-day paid induction training course, face-to-face and online learning to support your development
- 3-5 paid shadowing shifts working with an experienced support worker or Team Leader
- Guaranteed opportunity to be enrolled onto an NVQ Children and Young People's Workforce, a nationally recognized qualification
