About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Team Leader to join our Residential Children's Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of support workers and ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a residential care setting, with a strong understanding of the needs of children and young people with complex needs. You will be a natural leader, able to motivate and inspire your team to deliver exceptional care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care and support to our young people
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our young people
  • Work closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of our young people
  • Participate in regular supervision and training to ensure ongoing professional development

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working in a residential care setting
  • Strong understanding of the needs of children and young people with complex needs
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Ability to develop and implement care plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
