Position Overview

We are seeking a personable, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to become a vital member of our Patient Services team. In this essential role, you will serve as the initial point of contact for families and visitors in our Day Assessment Unit or Antenatal/Postnatal Wards, providing assistance and information regarding their inquiries.

Candidates should possess a minimum of GCSE qualifications or equivalent in Mathematics and English, along with a Level 2 qualification in ICT or administration. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. While prior experience in the NHS is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite.

Our Day Assessment Unit is currently offering a full-time position for a Patient Services Coordinator, with working hours from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday. Additionally, our Inpatient Ward team operates on a 4-week shift roster, with a part-time opportunity available for a coordinator role, requiring 30 hours per week, which may include 12-hour shifts.
