Position Overview

Location: Leicester (flexible start and finish but site based)

Compensation: Up to £50,000 + up to 16% pension, bonus potential, and 27 days holiday plus bank holidays.

About the Role

Executive Network Group is collaborating with a manufacturing organization seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Operations Manager to oversee their cutting-edge facility in Leicester.

You will report directly to the Plant Manager while also maintaining a collaborative relationship with the Head of HSE and the broader EHS team within the company.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be to cultivate a robust Health and Safety culture and ensure the organization successfully navigates its compliance journey as the facility transitions into full operational capacity.

This role is pivotal for the future of the organization, as the aim is to evolve into a premier factory site that the company can proudly showcase to clients and industry stakeholders.

Leadership and Influence

You will be responsible for:

  • Guiding and influencing Operational Management to uphold high standards.
  • Championing innovation and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promoting a positive workplace culture and safe working practices.
  • Delivering the Integrated Management System (IMS) to demonstrate compliance.
Compliance Management

In this role, you will manage the Integrated Management System (IMS) and collaborate with site management to ensure adherence to legislation and internal policies. You will also lead both internal and external audits, as well as proactive SHE improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of a NEBOSH Certificate.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment; prior experience in establishing compliance and cultural frameworks in a new factory setting is advantageous.

What is essential is a hands-on approach, with a focus on shop floor engagement, relationship building, and influencing workplace culture and behaviors.
