The Opportunity

We are seeking a Logistics Manager to drive the Global Logistics function, supporting Aspire's ambitious growth objectives. This role involves optimizing and implementing new global logistics processes, focusing on cost efficiency, compliance, and the selection of service providers within the freight forwarding and 3PL/4PL networks to maintain a resilient supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine the organization's future global logistics strategy across multiple UK and EU locations and external partners.
  • Oversee all logistics operations to ensure timely delivery while maximizing cost efficiency. Manage and coordinate stock control, receipt, and reconciliation activities across various warehouse sites.
  • Identify and implement logistics cost and process optimizations to ensure ongoing improvements while adhering to all regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the Logistics/Warehouse & Distribution budget and report on KPIs for all logistics and inventory activities, ensuring compliance with approved guidelines and identifying areas for escalation, cost optimization, and enhancement.
  • Oversee contract management for third-party logistics and warehouse providers, leading business review meetings and ensuring timely follow-up on action items.
  • Support due diligence and integration efforts for new acquisitions and company initiatives.
