Key Responsibilities

In the role of Safety and Compliance Specialist, you will collaborate with our project teams to enhance the implementation, assessment, and adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) policies and initiatives, ensuring full legal compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Your daily responsibilities will encompass:

  • Development and evaluation of Health and Safety Management systems aligned with recognized standards (ISO).
  • Assisting in the formulation of organizational H&S goals, policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Contributing data for monthly and annual HS&E performance metrics and reports.
  • Offering expert guidance and support on all HS&E-related issues to the site team.
  • Facilitating the promotion, execution, and assessment of HS&E policies and initiatives to maintain legal compliance.

Candidate Profile

This position is ideal for you if you possess:

  • Relevant H&S qualifications such as NVQ, IOSH, and/or NEBOSH Certificate (preferably in Construction) or equivalent.
  • Experience in a SHE Advisor role.
  • Accident/Investigation qualifications (e.g., Kelvin TOPSET, ROSPA, or NEBOSH HSE Introduction to Incident Investigation).
  • Experience in auditing to ISO45001 standards.
