Your Role

In this pivotal position, you will oversee all aspects of fleet management within our diverse and expanding construction-focused enterprise. Reporting directly to the Operations Director and collaborating closely with the Head of SHEQ, you will play a crucial role in shaping our fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fleet asset procurement strategy, focusing on the acquisition, leasing, and rental of vehicles.
  • Manage the fleet budget effectively, ensuring optimal cost efficiency and value for money.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations governing fleet operations.
  • Oversee the installation of tracking systems on all vehicles and utilize telematics data to monitor fleet usage, providing insightful reports to regional management.
  • Handle claims management efficiently to minimize losses.
  • Support the management of vehicle and company asset inventories.
  • Utilize your experience in fleet management or coordination to drive improvements and efficiencies.
  • Demonstrate financial acumen to interpret financial documents and manage the fleet budget.
  • Exhibit strong project management capabilities.
  • Apply well-honed analytical skills to assess fleet data and derive meaningful insights.
  • Possess a fleet management qualification, which is preferred.
