About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Unipart Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements
  • Ensure the operation achieves all daily, weekly and monthly targets and KPI's, resulting in high performance levels and the efficient and effective provision of a quality service to the customer
  • Manage a team of direct line reports including delivering team member performance review, development and/or succession planning as appropriate
  • Actively promote, take responsibility for embedding a culture of employee engagement within the team
  • Ensure compliance to Warehouse, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and safe systems of work
  • Utilise continuous improvement tools and techniques and support team members in their application
About You

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager who has a proven track record of delivering high performance levels and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. You will have excellent communication skills, including effective listening, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

You will have experience of managing and leading a team, with a strong focus on employee engagement and development. You will also have a good understanding of health, safety and environmental standards and be able to ensure compliance with these standards.
