Position Overview

Contract Type: Permanent, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of £15.28, with an additional £2.52 for night shifts between 18:00 and 06:00, alongside a daily subsistence allowance of £19.86 and a food allowance of £8.81.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with a starting window from 12:00 to 21:00.

Job Responsibilities

As a Class 1 Relief / Tramper Driver, your primary duties will include:

  • Executing bulk collections and deliveries across various DPD locations and customer sites nationwide.
  • Operating a modern fleet according to an established shift pattern, ensuring timely delivery of pallet loads to HGV-friendly destinations.
  • Committing to a minimum of four nights per week, with overnight stays in your vehicle at secure locations.
  • Covering a designated region surrounding your base depot.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A valid UK Class 1 Driving Licence.
  • A minimum of 12 months of Class 1 driving experience.
  • A valid UK CPC Card.
  • A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card.
