Job Summary:

Grafters Recruit Ltd is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Professionally drive and operate an allocated vehicle, ensuring efficient and effective collection, transportation, and disposal of customer waste.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects that may affect the safe operation of your vehicle or equipment.
  • Use and maintain your vehicle and equipment in accordance with provided training.
  • Ensure all loads are secure and safe, and follow site safety instructions at all sites.
  • Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy and report any hazards, near misses, or accidents.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving license with LGV Class 1 and Class 2 endorsements.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • A personable and 'can-do' attitude.
  • High levels of resilience and flexibility.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Commercial awareness and pride in the quality and standard of work.
