HGV Class 1 Driver Job Description

Grafters Recruit Ltd is seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 1 driver to join our team. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload goods from trailers
  • Operate a pump truck to transfer goods to smaller delivery hubs
  • Unlock and pump truck loads at delivery hubs
  • Deliver goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 license
  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
