Job Title: Commercial Delivery Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Delivery Coordinator to join our team at First Bus. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Private Hire Team and ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Support: Provide administrative support to the Private Hire Team, including data entry, supplier engagement, and internal briefings.
  • Process Maintenance: Ensure that processes are maintained throughout the department, including GTI data entry, vehicle procurement, and financial analysis.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Operator Engagement: Develop and implement an operator engagement strategy to maintain a comprehensive supplier base and identify additional suppliers when required.
  • Contract Management: Ensure that contractual obligations are met in all aspects of service delivery.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Contribute to and collate data for period reporting and analysis, ensuring that KPIs are correctly recorded for each client.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all coach and taxi services are procured within the FRS operator compliance regime.
  • Team Support: Provide regular briefings to the Control team on operations and assist with new projects or specific tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service Experience: Proven customer service experience, particularly in call handling and issue/complaint resolution.
  • Transportation Experience: 1-2 years' experience in a transportation or logistics environment (desirable).
