Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hygiene Operative to join our team at Birtwistles Food Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout our factory.

With a strong focus on teamwork and a supportive environment, you will work closely with our experienced team to ensure that our facilities are always clean, safe, and compliant with industry regulations.

As a Hygiene Operative, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing equipment, machinery, and facilities
  • Ensuring all waste is disposed of correctly and efficiently
  • Monitoring and maintaining cleaning schedules and records
  • Identifying and reporting any potential hazards or areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve our cleaning and hygiene goals
