As a Virtual Reality Software Engineer with our client, your contributions will significantly impact the success and safety of their clientele. Key Responsibilities:

As a developer, you will be tasked with delivering immersive XR projects for both the defence and private sectors. Your responsibilities will encompass the planning, execution, and delivery of exciting projects that support their established clientele.

Additionally, you will explore opportunities to implement XR technology for training enhancements, aiming to improve the effectiveness of client training programs.

Alongside continuous personal development opportunities, you will have the chance to work on diverse projects, including augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and mobile applications.

Duties as a Virtual Reality Software Engineer:

Lead the architectural design for VR development initiatives, providing essential support to the team. Ensure that relevant subcontractors receive assistance throughout the development and delivery stages of projects. Uphold code quality through industry-standard practices and thorough documentation. Collaborate with the change management team on VR project proposals. Stay informed by conducting research to identify emerging technologies, companies, and solutions in the industry. Undertake any additional tasks necessary to ensure the success of the role and effectively support the Business Unit.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to utilize gaming technologies to create engaging experiences. Proficient in Unreal Engine, capable of transforming creative concepts into reality. Relevant experience in Virtual Reality development, crafting captivating virtual environments. Familiarity with essential software tools, including Source Control and Visual Studio. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, providing a solid foundation for innovation and advancement.
