About the Role

Talent is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Management: Ensure that incidents are resolved within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets.
  • Change Management: Take ownership of Change Requests, monitoring progress from logging to completion, and ensuring timely delivery to customer satisfaction.
  • Problem Management: Support the provision of solutions to problems in a timely manner, analyzing persistent issues and providing long-term proactive fixes.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide second-line technical support to other operational teams and project teams as required.
  • Configuration and Installation: Carry out complex configuration, installation, build, and reconfiguration of computers, laptops, applications, and meeting room equipment for business-as-usual changes or projects.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Expert experience with Active Directory and Group Policy, MECM/SCCM or similar Systems Management Tools, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, and Virtual Desktop Technologies.
  • Networking Knowledge: Knowledge of networking concepts and VPNs.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Evidence of good problem-solving skills and excellent customer-facing skills.
  • Software Packaging: Expert experience in software packaging for deployment (MSI, EXE, MSIX, App-V, PSADT).
  • PowerShell Scripting: Experience in PowerShell scripting.
  • Virtual Machines: Experience in using and administering Virtual Machines (Hyper-V, VMWare, etc).
  • Audio Visual Equipment: Experience in supporting Audio Visual equipment, including Video Conferencing and Surface Hubs.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing major projects, such as software rollouts and hardware refreshes.
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate: ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.
  • Security Clearance: Must hold active SC Clearance.
