About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Project Director to lead our delivery strategy and ensure successful execution of our projects and programs.

This is a key role in our Leadership Team, driving value, return on investment, and alignment with our overall strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio Development: Develop and prioritize our portfolio to support our strategic objectives.
  • Delivery Practices: Establish delivery practices for continuous improvement.
  • Progress Monitoring: Collaborate with the Leadership Team to monitor progress and financial performance.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, coach, and mentor a team of Project and Programme Managers.
  • Delivery Processes: Implement innovative delivery processes and ensure strong portfolio governance.
  • Resource Planning: Manage resource planning and risk mitigation across the portfolio.
  • Milestones and KPIs: Define milestones, KPIs, and benefits delivery.
Qualifications & Experience

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated people management skills in a project/programme environment.
  • Certification: Certification in project management or related fields.
  • Delivery Experience: Experience with large project and programme delivery.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to interface with technical teams and manage significant budgets.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
